Volunteers

Project Compassion volunteers are the heart of our program. They annually provide over 20,000 hours to residents within 24 facilities.

Ways to Volunteer:

One-to-one visitation with a resident
Group activities - bingo, arts & crafts, special parties
Pet therapy - no certification required. Your pet must be well-behaved, free of pests, and current with vaccinations (proof required)
Music therapy - singles or groups welcome

You set your own volunteer schedule, but volunteers typically give ½ hour to an hour per week. Some pet & music therapists make monthly visits.
